EXCO TEARDOWN #1 — VEGASCALINE
EXCO TEARDOWN #1 cover — VEGASCALINE Wrapper Stacks mechanic breakdown
EXCO TEARDOWN is our new series where we take one EXCO mechanic apart every other week. First up: the game that started it all.
What is VEGASCALINE?
VEGASCALINE is EXCO Game Studio's debut slot — a psychedelic 5×5, 35-payline trip through a melting Vegas. It was built on one rule: if we wouldn't play it, we don't ship it.
How do Wrapper Stacks work?
Wrapper Stacks are mystery symbol stacks that wrap and reveal across reels. When a stack reveals, every position in it turns into the same symbol at once. On a 5×5 grid with 35 lines, a single reveal can connect paylines across the whole board. It hasn't been done before — which is exactly why we did it.
What do Sticky Re-Spins do?
Triggered Sticky Re-Spins lock your symbols in place and re-spin the rest of the grid. Each re-spin is another chance to extend the pattern — and another step up for the multiplier.
How does the Progressive Multiplier work?
The multiplier climbs on every spin and re-spin, and only resets in the base game. That means re-spin chains don't just add symbols — they raise the value of everything that lands after them. It's a ratchet, and it's the core of VEGASCALINE's math.
What's the bonus mode choice?
When the bonus hits, you pick your poison: keep the +2× multiplier progression climbing every spin and re-spin, or remove all low-pay symbols from the grid entirely. Progression or purification. Two volatility profiles in one game.
What are the SuperHacks?
VEGASCALINE carries two SuperHack buy levels at 777×, unlocking max-win exposure of 50,000× and 100,000×. Two 777× buys. Two ways to push the cap.
