Who is EXCO Game Studio?

EXCO Game Studio logo

EXCO Game Studio is an independent slot studio founded in 2025 by Fredrik Elmqvist, founder and former CEO of Yggdrasil Gaming. EXCO builds every game from scratch — original mathematics, original art, proprietary mechanics developed in-house. No licensed engines. No re-skinned templates.

Why does EXCO exist?

Because most online slots are re-skins of the same handful of engines, and players can tell.

That's not a marketing position, it's the reason the studio was started. Fredrik built Yggdrasil, watched the industry consolidate around licensed mechanics and template maths, and started EXCO in 2025 to build the opposite. One rule sits over everything: if we wouldn't play it, we don't ship it.

What is GAMEX?

GAMEX is EXCO's proprietary mechanic system — a family of branded, original slot mechanics, none licensed, none borrowed. Think of it the way players think of Megaways: a mechanic brand you recognise across titles. The difference is that Megaways is licensed to half the industry, and GAMEX lives in EXCO games only.

Wrapper Stacks. The Power Bar. Power Fields. The Swimmer Reel. The Doubling Dial. Every EXCO game runs on at least one.

Which games are live?

Four titles.

VEGASCALINE — the debut. A 5×5, 35-line trip through a melting Vegas, built on Wrapper Stacks, Sticky Re-Spins and a Progressive Multiplier that only resets in the base game. Two 777× SuperHack tiers push max-win exposure to 50,000× and 100,000×.

The Robbin' Goblins — a neon goblin heist with the GAMEX Power Bar, stacking per-reel multipliers to x99, and to x999 on the 777× Super Hack. Max win 10,000×.

LUNA X — a celestial battle arena and the debut of Power Fields: animated zones carrying x1–x25 multipliers that stack and add where they cross a winline. Boss Kills convert high-pays into Sticky Wilds. 5/5 volatility, 25,000× max win.

Piranha Bite Club — an underwater feeding frenzy with a 5×1 Swimmer Reel above the grid. Piranha Wilds swim up and inherit the multiplier waiting above them, and multiple Piranhas on a line multiply together. Max win 15,000×.

Apex Dregs is next, with a pipeline running past thirty titles.

What is the 777× Super Hack?

GAMEX's signature moment: a rare event that pushes a game's core mechanic straight to its maximum state. Power Bar to x999. SuperHack tiers unlocking 50,000× and 100,000× caps. One spin, one story, one clip — built to be watched and shared.

What does EXCO offer operators?

Every EXCO title ships with EXCO HACKS, a configuration suite that lets operators tune RTP band (96% / 94%), volatility, max-win cap and bonus pricing per market — without a separate build. Liability is explicit and capped at your configured maxExposure.

Games are mobile-first, available in 32 languages and 100+ currencies including crypto, distributed natively on Tequity RGS and through SOFTSWISS and QTech Games.

What makes EXCO different from other slot studios?

Three things. Ownership — GAMEX mechanics are EXCO originals, so operators don't find them on competitor shelves under another studio's name. System, not gimmick — GAMEX is a framework of distinct mechanics, not one feature reskinned thirty times. Configurability — the same game serves different markets without a rebuild.

No copycats. No clichés. No filler.
